The security of our personal data is a major concern in our lives. All of us have some very important collection of documents, photos, text messages, contacts and lots more that we never want to compromise. In order to keep our data secure, we keep on trying different methods.
Either we take a copy of these data in an additional hard drive or on our computer systems. No matter how hard we try, there is always a fear of losing the data, and we are never sure of being it secure, are we??
Even if the copy of the data is saved on our systems, we can’t access them on a go! That’s where online storage and backup turns out to be the best choice.
One such online storage service is Verizon cloud. That’s the reason we are here learning about how to access the Verizon cloud!
Verizon Cloud is an online storage website, which lets you back up and sync, all your important data. Be it your contacts, photos, videos, music, documents, call logs and text messages, and whatnot!
You can access and manage all your content on any of your devices easily, even while you are on the go.
Verizon can be an extremely useful tool for anyone concerned about data security. While using Verizon, there is no fear of any system or hard drive crash, or any kind of damage.
Moreover, you can sync between all your devices like smartphones, tablets, computers, and any other possible device. Once your data are on the Verizon cloud, regardless of your location or device, you can access them anytime.
Verizon cloud storage and Verizon cloud backup, are the two factors that can let anyone use Verizon.
So let’s dig deeper and know more about my Verizon cloud.
How to Access Verizon cloud
There are a number of ways you can access Verizon cloud. Verizon offers three applications through which you can easily get on Verizon.
#1. Desktop Application.
Desktop application as the name suggests is a workaround for computer users. For this, you need to download and install the Verizon could application on your desktop.
After downloading, you need to install it. The procedure to install Verizon cloud desktop application is exactly the same as downloading any other software. To start the installation, double-click the application file.
On doing that, the welcome wizard will prompt. See the below screen to take an idea of what the wizard looks like.
On the above screen, you can see the Next button, just click on that and follow the instruction carefully to complete the installation procedure.
Once the software is installed, you can backup anything from your computer to Verizon cloud and can restore them back on your computer when needed. But, before downloading the software make you sure your system meets the minimum requirements.
System Requirements
Operating System– Windows Vista with Service Pack 1, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 or windows 10.
Processor– Pentium® 4 processor (or above)
Hard disk space– minum 250 MB.
RAM– minimum 1 GB of RAM
Screen– 16-bit Color monitor, 1024 X 768 pixels QuickTime® 7 or higher
Browser– Internet Explorer 7 or higher
Once you have that, you are good to go. You can download the application and install it. And how to do that, I’ve mentioned below in the guide, keep reading.
#2. Website Application.
If you have a computer with an internet connection, you can visit Verizon website anytime, anywhere. For this, I don’t think I need to write more, all you need is the Verizon credentials. For this, we’ll have to sigh up for Verizon and a method for that is below in the guide.
#3. Mobile App
Verizon cloud can be accessed even from the smartphones. But having a Verizon mobile app is a must for that. You can easily get this app from the Verizon official website or play store.
Now you very well know how to access Verizon cloud. But, you can’t access Verizon in any of the application until you have Verizon credentials. In order to get use Verizon, we need to first sign up for my Verizon cloud, then we will go through the steps involved in my Verizon sign in.
Verizon Cloud Sign up
To sign up for Verizon,
- Go to the Verizon Cloud website.
- Now click on the sign in/Register option on top right corner. Once clicked, you’ll be redirected to the following screen.
- Now click on Register.
- And complete registration by following the on screen prompts and get your ID and password.
Verizon Cloud Sign In
The credentials you’ll get after signing up by following the above method are the same for my Verizon sign-in, my Verizon wireless login, my Verizon wireless sign in, my Verizon cloud sign-in, and login Verizon wireless.
You don’t require any additional ID or password for any of the above-mentioned logins.
Now once you have your Verizon login credentials, you can easily access Verizon cloud via the desktop application, mobile app or web application. Here’s how to do that.
- Since you have Verizon cloud software installed on your computer already, Double click on its icon and open the application.
- Alternatively, Click on Start menu> (Programs) All Programs > Verizon > Cloud.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your login credentials.
- Enter the same ID and password you got while creating the Verizon cloud account and click on Sign in.
And same procedure is applicable on the Verizon mobile app and the official Verizon cloud website. Visit the website and enter your ID and password and access you Verizon cloud account.
