After doing so, if you again go to your Gallery, you can still see the Picasa Album. To completely remove the album from your device you need to clear your Gallery’s cache, and here’s how:

  1. Navigate again to Settings.
  2. From Settings, go to the Applications Manager of your device.
  3. Under Applications Manager you will see 3 tabs, namely “Downloaded, Running and All“.
  4. Swipe to the All tab.
  5. Now scroll down until you see Gallery, and then click on the Gallery option.
  6. From the box that appears, click on Clear Cache. And now the cache of your gallery will be cleared.

Don’t worry, you’ll not lose any of your existing albums except that you Can’t view Picasa Web Albums anymore. After clearing the cache, the Picasa Album will be removed from your device.
