In This Post, We’ll Talk About Ways to Make Money
We’ve all met someone or a group of folks that whine and complain about not having enough money. They haven’t even looked into where they can acquire some. Many of us rely on our day and second jobs to generate the cash we WANT rather than NEED in order to live a “happy life.”
We make enough money working 40 hours for someone else, yet it’s not enough. What if you’re unemployed, a student, a child, or simply a slacker?
I’ve put up a list of methods to generate money with no or little investment below. This list is based on the assumption that you have the same basic resources as most individuals in first-world nations (a smart phone, a laptop or access to one).
Ways to Make Money
1. Affiliate marketing
You can discover enough information to educate you how to accomplish this in your sleep by searching Google or YouTube. Many individuals claim that affiliate marketing is no longer viable, but the fact is that they’ve just become complacent.
Affiliate marketing is when you use your platform to promote someone else’s goods (e.g., anything on Amazon, plane tickets, pet food, or online courses). After you’ve done a great job marketing their goods, the customer will click on your link, which will take them to the seller’s site (Amazon, buysomethingstupid.com) where they may purchase their item. As a result, you will be compensated with a commission.
Affiliate marketing may be done in a variety of methods, including: Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Email marketing, Influencers, and Content Creation.
2. Video on YouTube
As long as you can get into a library or sit near a Starbucks, we all have a smart phone and access to internet. Nowadays, a smartphone’s camera can compete with a competent DSLR camera.
What’s keeping you from making a video of your day? Or simply chronicling your surroundings, or talking about something you’re skilled at or curious about? Although it may appear that no one is interested in what you have to give at first, remember that SOMEONE is.
You may generate money in a variety of ways with Youtube:
I’ll touch on affiliate marketing here, despite the fact that it’s already been explored. You may earn money by writing product reviews or commenting about ANYTHING that is sold online.
Influencer Percs- As your channel grows in popularity, you may always collaborate with other Youtubers or firms selling items that complement your channel. People will pay you to promote their Shopify business or to yell them out, and the possibilities are unlimited.
Ad Revenue- You won’t see this until you’ve grown significantly. But if you do, you’ll get a decent payment. This will never be your primary source of revenue.
3. Purchase and Sell Items
Isn’t it a little too simple? When I first started my business, this is how I raised the majority of my funds. In fact, I’ve grown this strategy to become one of my primary sources of revenue today. Here are several various degrees on ways to purchase and sell things.
Retail arbitrage is the simplest and safest way to acquire and sell items. I’m confident in my ability to spell things out in a straightforward manner. Go to a bargain retailer like WalMart or a Target. Look for things that appear to be on sale. Look at what they’re selling for on sites like Amazon, Ebay, Offer Up, Facebook Marketplace, and others. If you notice anything with a profit margin, acquire it and list it. Return the item if it does not sell and look for something else.
Having a Yard Sale- The season is approaching. One person’s garbage is another person’s gold. This strategy is similar to the previous buy stuff, sell stuff strategy, however it is a little riskier. You won’t be able to return these things, so do your homework. After a few laps around the block, you’ll have a better sense of what’s worthwhile and what isn’t. The advantages of this strategy are that you may bargain and acquire a better deal.
If you have a little more money, Amazon may be the best option for you. Of course, the disadvantage is that it is the most dangerous. You may look on Alibaba for vendors willing to sell you small amounts of materials for a reasonable price (not many will, but a few will). (Believe me, I found one). You may either complete Amazon orders yourself (FBM- Fullfilled by Merchant) or send the materials to Amazon and have them fulfill the order for an extra fee (FBA- Fullfilled by Amazon).
4. Get Rid of Your Stuff
We all have a lot of miscellaneous items around the house that we haven’t touched in a long time. I’ve already sold an old digital camera I haven’t used in over 5 years this year. I also sold a bicycle that I had intended to ride but had never done so.
I went through a ‘fat period’ (which I’m currently going through) and had a lot of high-end clothing. If you didn’t notice, I used to be a materialistic person. I began giving them out and quickly realized I had made a tremendous error. As a result, I began to sell them. Here are a few methods I used to get rid of them.
On my own Facebook page, I have a Facebook Marketplace. Ebay is an upscale thrift store.
5. Freelance work
Despite what we’d like to believe, we all have something to contribute. Find something you’re excellent at and be paid to do it. All you need is access to a computer once more.
Here are a few things you may do to get money as a freelancer.
Create articles or written material for anyone that require it as a ghost writer. People who are launching new websites require a lot of content but don’t have the time to produce it.
Video Editing- Isn’t it true that everyone aspires to be a Youtuber? However, if you don’t want to, you could always modify their work. The majority of the time, a rookie Youtuber has poor edits and need a great deal of assistance.
Social Media Marketing- Are you familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media platforms? Assuming you do, assist local small companies who lack the resources to do so. I mean, you spend the majority of your time on here, right?
Can you take images and make them appear ‘beautiful’ as a freelance photographer? There aren’t many people who aren’t proficient in Graphic Design, Website Design, and Microsoft Office.
You have no idea how many individuals are unable to perform the absurd duties that were pounded into our minds in school. Someone I know once paid a freelancer $300 to copy members of an Orthopedic Association Group’s names, emails, and phone numbers. There were 4000 members in all.
The list could go on and on. Look into Fiverr. They have a plethora of freelancer-related concepts. You may start earning money by posting your skills.
6. Volunteer Work
I understand how silly this sounds, but if you have the time, DO IT. Working for free provides you with valuable experience and exposure. Offer your unique services (not assistance) to individuals and businesses in the locations where you wish to be.
Offer your services to a local marketing firm or social media influencers, for example. It’s probable that your efforts will pay off if you find your gift and give it up for free.
As technology advances and our mental boundaries are broken down, new options become available. Money will arrive quite near to where you discover a little hustle paired with inventiveness. Everyone would do it if it was simple.
