Well no doubt Facebook is the largest and most successful social network on this planet right now, right? Yeah, I get that.
So yeah Facebook might be the most advanced social network on this planet but it still lacks certain features, or maybe it has not made the features public yet. One such feature is How to see who looks at your Facebook.
I am pretty sure, Facebook has a certain algorithm in place which tracks who looks at your Facebook account, but either for security reasons or for just about any reason, that feature is not public yet. (No fun there, huh?)
Is your crush secretly spending time on your profile? Are your parents spying on what you’re up to?
I know these questions keep arising now and then, but well Facebook just doesn’t care for our feelings huh? (Ah well it’s just a piece of code, so of course, it doesn’t know what feelings are anyway.)
So well that’s the reason I am writing this post today, to get you an insight into you how to see who looks at your Facebook account.
Why Would You Want to Know Who Viewed My Facebook Profile?
No, I am not saying you need to be an organized terrorist Organisation in order to be careful and curious about the people coming to your Facebook profile.
I mean there are quite a few reasons your mind might be tickling you inside of It in order to know who is there on your profile right now, right?
So well let’s talk about some of the possibilities?
Well, I personally would like to know if my crush is secretly checking my profile out, that gives a lot of mental pieces trust me, and of course, that gives me a better approach.
I mean maybe then I could just go over to her and get the guts to say hi right?
Or maybe, then I would know which of my relatives, or parents are coming up to my profile, and that would help me plan my future posts.
I mean I definitely don’t want my parents and relatives check out who I loved and what kind of mental situation of emotional flow I’m going through, right?
So yeah I am sure you can think of a lot of other reasons why you would want to know how can you see who views your Facebook but that’s just as far a story as I can think up of right now
Can You See Who Views My Facebook Profile?
I don’t want to break your heart or something but picture this, Facebook is a multi-billion dollar company with maybe one of the most advanced algorithms and scientists working on it every moment.
So the bad news about that is it’s not really possible to definitely and with most certainty checkout who looks at your Facebook profile because if Facebook doesn’t want you to do something on Facebook, Facebook won’t allow you to do that thing on Facebook simple as that.
So, what’s the point of me writing this article? The title said something like “how to see who views your facebook” profile, right”?
Well, the point is, there are a couple of Apps out there and extensions which allow you to check out who looks at your Facebook profile but let me tell you, the apps and extensions were coded “for” Facebook.
So if the app in any way was in violations of the terms and conditions of Facebook they would not exist.
The extensions and apps might not be totally correct, But well still they are fun to work with, and play around and who knows they might be even totally correct, right? (Afterall, the only thing certain about this world is, nothing is certain, huh?
How to See Who Looks at Your Facebook Profile?
Wow, so now we are reaching the part of the story you are all excited for, right?
Ok so, what we basically will be doing is we will be downloading an extension, and it calculates some metrics on behalf of which it lets us know who looks at our Facebook profile.
But still let me give you a piece of advice if you are interested, this is a third party extension it has not been affiliated with us in any way, the security and reliability of the extension have not been verified by us.
So if you are going to try this extension out it’s totally on own responsibility.
So, Click here to go to the Chrome extension page.
Once you are on the page, click on the Add to Chrome button what it basically will do is it will install the extension on your browser. (Well it’s not a virus that much I can be sure about, or else it would have never been on the chrome store!)
Once you click on that button, a second pop up would show itself, asking for a final confirmation of the action. So just click on add to chrome button again.
Well, you’re done! Here’s how it’s going to work.
Once you’ve installed it, you need to click on the extension icon at the top right corner of your URL bar. (Make sure you’re on Facebook.com while doing this, or else the icon won’t be clickable.)
Now, you would see a visitors option next to your home button.
Click on it, and you’ll be asked to invite your friends to install the extension. Well once you do that, and once your friends install it, you’ll start seeing whenever they visit your profile.
Well once you do that, and once your friends install it, you’ll start seeing whenever they visit your profile.
So how this exactly works is, only those people who have installed the extension from your friend’s list would be shown to you as visitors. This is the only downside to it, but that is what makes it a bit legal I suppose.
So yeah, that’s about it. I hope it solved your curious mind’s questions over how to see who looks at your Facebook profile, right? Feel free to drop a comment if any more doubts exist; I’m here, and I’m listening.
