#1. Generate Your HDFC Credit Card PIN Via NetBanking

If you’re an HDFC Bank customer, you can generate your HDFC credit card PIN through NetBanking. Here’s how:

Step#1. Log in to your HDFC Bank NetBanking account.

Step #2. Select the “Credit Cards” tab and click on “Credit Card ATM PIN/Instant PIN Generation” under the “Requests” section.

Step #3. Select your credit card from the drop-down menu. Enter and re-enter the 4 digit Pin. Click on “Continue.”

Step #4. A confirmation message will be displayed on your screen. 

Step #5. Select your registered mobile number to receive an OTP and click the ‘continue‘ button.

Step #6: Enter OTP to confirm credit card pin generation and click the ‘continue‘ button.

Step #7. The screen will display the message about the successful completion of the request. HDFC Bank will send the new credit card PIN to your registered mailing address.

#2. Visiting an HDFC Bank ATM

You can also generate your HDFC credit card PIN by visiting any HDFC Bank ATM. Before visiting, you have to need the one time password (OTP) on your mobile for PIN generation. To get the OTP, you can call HDFC credit card customer care. 

Once you have the OTP, visit the ATM and follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Insert your credit card into the ATM and choose the language of your preference.
  • Select the “create a new ATM PIN using OTP” option and enter your registered 10-digit mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number.
  • Now, type in a 4-digit PIN of your choice.
  • Re-type the PIN and you will receive a message that the new credit card PIN is generated successfully.

#3. Using the IVR Method

Another way to generate your HDFC credit card PIN is through the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) method. Here’s how:

  • Call HDFC Bank customer service at 1800-266-0333 through a registered mobile number.
  • Enter the Hash Key (#) with the last 4 digits of your credit card number.
  • Press “1” to generate a credit card PIN.
  • The IVR system will ask if you want to generate a One Time Password (OTP). Press “1” to confirm OTP Generation.
  • A six-digit OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Enter the OTP and Set your four-digit PIN by entering it after the Hash Key (#).
  • The IVR shows a successful validation message.
  • In case the IVR call gets disconnected while entering the OTP, re-connect to the IVR toll-free number and dial 2 to enter the six-digit OTP.

  • Log in to your HDFC Bank NetBanking account using your credentials.
  • Select the “credit card” tab, and click on “change PIN”.
  • You will receive OTP on your registered mobile number, enter it, and click on “continue.”
  • Then enter a 4-digit credit card PIN of your choice.
  • HDFC Bank will send you a message that your PIN has been successfully changed.

#2. Change Your HDFC Credit Card PIN Via ATM

Steps to follow to change your HDFC credit card PIN via ATM – 

  • Insert your credit card into any HDFC Bank ATM and select language.
  • Enter your existing PIN and select the ‘change PIN’.
  • Enter the OTP that was sent on your registered mobile number.
  • Set a 4-digit PIN of your choice and re-type it.
  • You will receive a confirming message.
